Mafia 3 Mafia 2 vs which is better

Ever since Mafia 3 came out, the Internet’s been ridden with discussions about which Mafia game is better. It’s no easy choice because Mafia 2 and 3 are two very different games in many aspects.

Mafia 2 was a much better optimized game for its time. Everything, starting from setting and story and ending with graphics and gameplay, was perfectly done. As for Mafia 3…Well, it is a very good third-person shooter with a good combat system and a large choice of weapons, there’s no question about it. The storyline and the characters, however, might come off as poorly written, especially in comparison to other Mafia games. Both Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 are great games in what they’re trying to be, so it’s really up to the player to decide which one is better. One offers the authenticity and the story, the other – fun and a lot of action.
