The game world in Mafia 3 is a lot bigger than those of the previous games in the series. Naturally, the city has a lot of different districts:
- Pointe Verdun. This district is situated in the north of New Bordeaux. It’s pretty gloomy out here.
- French Ward. This is one of the most dangerous places in the city. All you can find here is hookers, drug dealers and thugs.
- Tickfaw Harbor. This is where all the ships come and unload their cargos.
- Frisco Fields. Situated in the north-west of the city, this district primarily plays the role of the suburbs.
- Delray Hollow. This is where Lincoln Clay, the main protagonist, grew up. Essentially, it’s a black neighborhood where crime reigns everything.
- Bayou Fantom. This is an Italian neighborhood. Most of the gun trading will be happening here.
- Barclay Mills. An industrial zone, nothing special.
- River Row. Vito Scaletta has been residing here since he came to New Bordeaux.
- Southdowns. This is where all the fun takes place. Here you can find a lot of casinos, nightclubs and other interesting places.
- Downtown. The heart and the business center of New Bordeaux.
