How to start a quest
A treasure map can be obtained from a random treasure hunter, but it will not be easy to find it. The hunter himself can be in any of the eight points, but before you start searching for him, you will need to complete the story task "New South" in the third part of RDR 2. At the end of the mission, Arthur will need to go to one of the eight locations:
Location 1 — in the North-East of the city of Strawberry (in the South-Western part of the map).
Location 2 — in the area to the East of the city of Strawberry nearby river, Dakota.
Location 3 - in the area Southeast of Wallace Station and West of the Dakota river (the station is located in the Western part of the map).
Location 4 - in the area southwest of Caliban (located South of Valentine).
Location 5 - in the area North of the first " E "in the word" Newhanover " (New Hanover can be found on the South-Eastern part of the map).
Location 6 - in the area of the letter " H "in the word"Newhanover".
Location 7 - in the area under the letters "hea" in the word "the Heartlands".
Location 8 - in the area under the letters " and "in the word"the Heartlands".
Where to find the treasure in the quest
To get the map, the hunter will need to throw a lasso or kill. Another way to get a card is to buy it from the fence.
The first treasure
At the bottom of the waterfall on the right will be a log. Arthur will have to climb over it, climb on the ledge, and then you can take the treasure.
The second treasure
The next treasure will lie inside a stump that is located between two rocks on a hill.
The third treasure
Go to the top of the mountain, and then when you reach the edge and face the river, go down and follow the left road. Keep going on the left side until you reach the crevice-jump down, where you will find three gold bars, each of which can be sold for $ 500.
