Fatherhood and other dreams - one of the side missions in RDR 2, where Arthur meets his former love, a girl named Mary. Their first meeting occurred during the "We loved once and truly" mission in Chapter two.
To start the quest, you need to wait for a letter from Mary. This will happen in the fourth Chapter. The message will be shown on the map of the swampy camp. Arthur can find it in the main building, in a room on the ground floor, next to Morgan's bed.
As soon as the message is received, the mission marker will appear on the map of Saint-Denis. Arthur would have to go there and find the Grand hotel, where he would also find Mary. The screen saver will start, after which he must agree to help her.
After that, Morgan would have to accompany Mary to the stables next to the Saint-Denis railway tracks. First, the girl will go inside, and then there will be another screensaver.
There, Arthur would meet Mary's father, and He would have to follow him, but keep a safe distance. Which is not difficult, because the man will be drunk. For a moment, he would disappear around the corner, but Morgan would quickly catch up with him, not even picking up the pace. The ultimate goal is to walk with him to the place where he sells the brooch to a merchant.
The purpose of Artrur - to pursue the trader to return the brooch to Mary, because it is a family heirloom. We'll have to chase this man and even steal a horse, because he will have time to jump into the stagecoach.
The only way to catch up with him would be outside Saint-Denis, and Arthur would be able to jump straight into the stage. The task is to take control of the transport by throwing the driver off it. The purpose of the trip is the place marked on the map.
After the stagecoach is stopped, Arthur will have to throw the merchant out of it. You can return the brooch in two ways: by paying him $ 100 or by defeating him in a fight. In the first case, the scale of honor will increase in the positive direction, in the second it will decrease in the negative.
Now it's time to return the jewel to Mary. To do this, you will have to return to Saint-Denis. In return, the girl will invite you to a joint trip to the theater, and Morgan should agree to this. He can watch the play, or he can leave earlier. This is the end of the mission.
