To begin with – a few short General tips on passing the game RDR 2. If you are familiar with all the secrets-you can immediately proceed to the passage. For those who enter the game for the first time, the tips will be useful.

Don't try to explore the world outside the camp (for the first time)

Although the first few hours of playing RDR 2 are dedicated to introducing you to the characters and mechanics of the game, there are a few things you should know right away. Don't try to leave your first camp. The weather outside your shelter in Colter is too harsh to survive.

Search the bodies

Money is a resource you desperately need early on, and the best way to get it is to loot every enemy you encounter in the first missions. At first, this is your only way to make money, but the opportunities will expand significantly when you get into the full open world.

Get a jacket

As soon as you start the second Chapter, you can go almost anywhere in the open world. But your adventures can take you back to the mountains. Already in the first Chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2, find warm clothes – they will save your health. You can drop a spare set of clothing into your saddlebag by going to camp and interacting with the chest in your tent. Choose clothes that will keep you warm and choose Store Outfit on Horse. When you are in the world, you can change clothes from the horse menu.

(Other) faithful horse

Once you have made some friends with your horse, consider leaving it in the stable and buying (or borrowing) another faithful horse. It is useful to have at least two horses on hand so that you do not have to look for a new vehicle in the event of an “accident”.

Now press Enter and the window should start blinking. Then click on the key to which you want to reassign this action. Done.

Mission Criminals from the West

Red Dead Redemption 2 begins with the fact that you (the hero's name is Arthur), lead a small caravan of sad and tired people through a snowstorm. Something very bad happened and your group lost several people. Although you have almost found shelter at the moment, your food supply is running low.

Your first task is to follow Dutch through the snow on horseback. Follow the instructions to feel in control of your horse.

Eventually, Mikah will cross your path. He found a house that can help you ride out a snowstorm. Continue to follow the prompts and follow him.

When you get home, bring the horse to the rack and tie it to the hitching post. Then follow Dutch on foot. He tells you and Mikah to hide so as not to scare the people inside. Hide in the barn, it is on the left.

When the Dutch is talking to people at the door, Mikah makes a terrifying discovery – there is a body in the van behind which he hid.

Prepare your weapon to trigger the weapon switch wheel, and select the revolver at the top. Now aim at the person closest to the sensor before He can make the shot himself.

First shootout
No hurry. If you want a gold medal, you don't have to take any damage. So shoot, and then quickly take cover again. You will need to complete this mission with an accuracy of 80% - so do not shoot if you are not sure of a hit. The target grid will be red if it is aimed at a hit.

Take your friends with you and don't worry if one of them runs away. Go inside the house with Dutch. Here you will learn about your level of health, which is depleted over time. You must eat to restore it. Take a few oatcakes to the right of the entrance, holding the square, then open the bag. Eat an oatmeal cake to restore the health scale. The better the food, the more health it will restore.

In the lower-right corner of the screen, you will see when you can pick up something or chat with someone nearby. Just get closer to things and find the icon.

Remove the food from the counter to the left of the entrance and inspect the first aid kit behind the medicine Cabinet. Finally, go up the stairs to find some revolver cartridges on a small table. You can look around and explore the location if you want, but all you will find is an image of a married couple who live here and a piece of jewelry on the table next to the bed.

If Dutch calls you, you will have to answer before you can continue looting. Be sure to take everything you can in the house to complete the checklist – collect 6 or more items from the Odlers ranch.

When you leave, Dutch will instruct you to inspect the barn. Be prepared for the fact that you are afraid of. In direct sense. One of the O'Driscoll will jump on you as you enter, knocking the gun out of your hand. Attack him.

Dutch will watch you fight, but our hero Arthur has an advantage, and he will easily overcome the attacker. Question O'Driscoll. Ask him questions and he will easily admit everything. Then you will have the opportunity to kill him or spare him. Be careful – if you hit him three times, you will kill him.

Calm the horse
After you've made your choice, pick up your gun and your hat. Then you should calm the horse when approaching it. Get the horse out.

As you approach the house, you will hear a woman scream. It turns out that the farmer's wife is still alive and locked in the basement. The three of you will assure Mrs. Adlers that she'll be okay and she will go with you to your people.

Noise in the house
This completes the first mission of the first Chapter of RDR 2. The next task is to complete the memory-Haunted mission. Recall that you must complete to get a gold medal.

Gold medal Checkpoints:
  • Do not take damage during a shootout.
  • Get 6 or more items from the Odlers ranch.
  • Complete the mission with an accuracy of at least 80% – do not make mistakes when shooting.

Memory-Haunted Mission

The memory-Haunted mission is part of the red Dead Redemption 2 walkthrough. The guide highlights the strategy of the mission and the requirements for the gold medal.

In the next scene, Abigail asks you (Arthur) to find John. You will go with Javier to complete the task. Javier will explore the area and determine the direction they went. Follow Javier on horseback.

In this mission, you will learn that horses also have health. Crossing icy rivers and putting an animal in danger, you will Deplete the health of your four-legged friend. Don't ask too much of your horse. If you jump from a great height, your horse – and you-will die.

dead horse
Eventually, you will come across a grizzly and see that John is nearby. Continue to follow Javier to him. As soon as you get off the horse, follow the instructions to take your shotgun from the inventory stored in the saddlebag. You can only use one firearm at a time.

Follow Javier. Now you will learn about your endurance level. Like health, you can restore stamina by eating certain foods. Canned peaches will restore stamina well, but health-only slightly. Eat canned peaches.

Keep going to John. After a short conversation, a video will be played with Javier, who carries it back.

Javier
As soon as you return to the horses, you will find that you have unwanted company in the form of several wolves.

To get a gold medal for completing the RDR 2 mission, you can't take damage from wolves. If the damage is still received, but you want to get gold, you can always jump off the cliff and restart the checkpoint (AutoSave).

Wolves
Go in the direction of the three wolves and a little to the right to stop on the rock. They should focus on you. Shoot them, aiming at their heads to quickly remove them.

When you destroy them, jump on your horse and go back to the mountain with Javier and John. More wolves will attack your group on the way down.

You can shoot wolves to kill them, and on horseback, but it is difficult to aim accurately when driving. Instead, trample them with your horse. Kill wolves with firearms or horse hooves and keep your friends safe to complete the mission. After all the wolves are killed, the mission ends.

Checkpoints for getting a gold medal: in this mission, the requirements for a gold medal are minimal – you can't take damage during a wolf attack. To do this, you can use the horse's hooves as a weapon, or aim directly at the head.

After completion it will be possible to start two story missions. Talk to Mr. Pearson to start "Consequences of Being" to learn how to hunt, or go to bill Williamson to start " Old friends." No matter which mission you choose first, the second will not be lost – it will also need to pass.

Old friends

"Old friends" is the main story mission and part of the passage of Red Dead Redemption 2. The mission can be started after being Haunted by Memory, in parallel with the Consequences of Being.

Go to the point on the map marked by Bill Williams to start the mission. After a short walk, get on a horse.

Follow Dutch-you will soon find O'Driscoll. Gang setelah train robbery, and your task is to thwart their intentions.

During the mission, you will learn that everything is very complicated – Dutch killed Colm's brother O'Driscoll, and Colm killed someone important – this explains their enmity on the way.

Follow Dutch up the hill, then follow O'Driscoll as long as you have binoculars. Focus on Colm-he's wearing a tie, on a horse, and talking to a man on foot.

After seeing enough, Dutch will strongly advise you to arrange a courtesy visit to your "friends", and remind you that it is not superfluous to grab a gun-you never know what may happen. Starting with this mission, you will be able to use several types of firearms.

Follow Dutch, get closer to your goal, and pick up a weapon if you don't have One yet – the game will tell you the best time to do it. The satellite will ask you if you want to take the lead or send the gang first.

Weapon
To get a gold medal for completing a mission, it is important to do the following. Here it is best to take the initiative to arrange a guaranteed headshot, while the enemy does not know about you. Making 15 head shots is an important gold medal requirement for the Old friends mission, so try to aim only at the heads.

Tip: after you shoot someone, stop aiming. Then, when you re-target a new enemy, the auto-target will fire, making your shots easier and more accurate.

The minimap will show where the enemies are located – they will be marked with red dots. After they are dealt with, loot everything you can. Soon more opponents will appear from the South. Get ready to activate Dead Eye – it will help destroy the remaining enemy gang.

After activating Dead Eye, find a vantage point with three gang members in view, ideally all next to each other. This way you can easily fulfill one of the requirements of this gold medal in this mission – kill three bandits with the same use of the Dead eye. Important-do not use any health enhancement items during this mission to fulfill another requirement.

Skirmish
After defeating this wave of enemies, continue looting bodies and buildings. You will have to go to Dutch to get your gang to work – you can pick up items while They are searching. Dutch will tell you to search the house on the left – this is the largest building. You must complete the entire mission in less than 15 minutes to get the gold medal, so loot fast!

The building has a small chest and a large chest. Interacting with a large chest marked with dynamite will trigger a short splash screen. You will find information about the train that O'driscoll planned to Rob, and about a new person of interest – Levite Cornwall.

Follow Dutch back to your camp. In the end, you will find a stray O'Driscoll, who is assigned to capture and deliver alive. You must catch up and capture O'Driscoll in 45 seconds to meet the requirement for a gold medal. He is going to turn right, so go around the right Bank of the river to quickly catch up with him.

Chase
Use the lasso. You can aim quite far, and the aiming grid will turn red as soon as the target is in range. As soon as you catch it, continue holding it while you dismount from the horse, and approach it to complete the action. The minimap will show you the fastest way to the camp – just follow the yellow line.

Gold medal Checkpoints:
  • 15 shots to the head;
  • kill three bandits with Dead Eye;
  • complete the entire mission in 15 minutes;
  • do not use items to restore health;
  • catch O'Driscoll in 45 seconds
As soon as you return to the camp, the game will show a video clip. End of the level. If you haven't completed the "Consequences of being" mission yet, go to It. If this part is already passed-go straight to “Who the hell is Leviticus Cornwall".

Consequences of Being

Consequences of Being – the main story mission for the passage of Red Dead Redemption 2. It can be passed after the memory-Haunted mission, in parallel with the previous one in the description. The guide highlights the strategy of missions and the requirements for the gold medal.

Find Mr. Pearson's marker on your map to start the quest. It's inside the side of the house. Pearson will send you and Charles on a bow hunt so that you don't scare off your prey. Follow Charles. In the end, you will find a location for hunting deer. Sit down with Charles with L3 and stay where you are when you stop. Then go back to your horse and put on the bow (it will be in the saddlebag).

Sit down again and carefully follow the tracks – they will deviate slightly to the left. Then the game will teach you how to use Eagle Eye – Eagle eye. If you lose track of them, just activate Eagle Eye again. Several white trees will stand in the way, leading to the river. Do not pass by the last tree, otherwise you will scare the deer and the mission will fail.

First deer
The bow is difficult to handle, but you will need to shoot at the head or neck to deliver a clean and quick blow. You should also be careful not to scare the deer. Marked deer that are alone are the main target. Aim for their head to be raised: as soon as they have raised it, pull the string, then immediately release the arrow to hit them for a clean kill with a single arrow.

Pull the string only if you think you are ready to release it immediately – the animal will run immediately after raising its head. Kill one deer, then find another and also kill this one.

Second deer
As soon as you successfully cope with two deer, Charles will be waiting for you where you first saw your prey. Now follow Charles back to the camp. Along the way you'll slowly discuss Mrs. Adlers and O'Driscoll.

Soon you will meet a bear on your way. Charles instructs you to stay away – that's really good advice. Let it lead you away from the bear to get past it. You will probably have to calm the horse by holding L3, because the proximity of this huge predator makes it nervous.

Continue to follow Charles, without incident. By the end of this quest, you must increase the level of attachment of your horse, which unlocks training and education. While stationary, press R1 and square / X. get on the horse next to Charles as soon as you return to the camp. Remove the deer from the horse's back and meet Mr. Pearson. He's in the side of the house where he gave the assignment.

After a short conversation, you will have to give up the deer. Pearson will give you wise advice on how you can collect skins and sell them in the city for good and fast money.

Gold medal Checkpoints:
  • Kill each deer with one arrow.
  • Don't scare any deer.
  • Kill the second deer.
If you haven't completed it yet, go to the "Old friends"section. If you've already completed this quest, go to Who the hell is Levit Cornwall.

Who the hell is Leviticus Cornwall

This quest begins as a video immediately after Old Friends, and again you find yourself riding a horse and following Dutch. It soon turns out that you are going to Rob the train that O'Driscoll originally wanted, and take a bunch of bonds (the equivalent of money in the Wild West). The train is reportedly transporting a large batch of securities to the Bank.

train Robbery
As soon as you get to the observation deck where you can view the train tracks, you'll have to go down to check on bill and see if he needs help.

Bill sets the explosives and asks you for a small favor-to set the detonator. For this:
  • Raise the coil next to bill.
  • Connect the wire to the detonator – this is a small box between the stones on the South side.
Get on your horse and go back to the others to wait for the detonation and explosion. But first you must put on a mask to hide your face. Until this is done, the game will not continue. After the face is completely hidden, the game starts-video of the approaching train.

Unfortunately, the explosives will fail, the detonator will not work, and you will be forced to run down the mountain and jump on the train right on the move.

You must save Lenny the man hanging from the edge of the train to get the gold medal in this mission. Go to him, to raise him in a safe place.

Keep moving. Your goal is to get to the locomotive to stop the train. Don't get too close to the edge and jump at random – the train will leave you behind and you won't be able to complete your mission.

Train
Sit down to move more discreetly and under cover as you approach the train guards. If you saved Lenny, he will ask you if he should go first, or if you want to complete the task yourself. It would be safer to send lenny.

You must kill all the guards in 1 minute 30 seconds-this will ensure a gold medal. In addition, you can not take damage and make at least 10 shots in the head. Remove the first guard, hiding behind a barrel, shot in the head – the other will immediately appear in the doorway ahead. Use the "Dead eye" when there is more than one enemy in sight, and you will be able to meet the requirements for the gold medal.

As soon as you get to the first car, your friend will be captured by the train driver. Shoot him, but do not touch Lenny – just try to shoot only when the sight grid is red. After the driver is eliminated, a short screen saver will appear – Lenny stops the train.

shooting on a train
Search the bodies after the shooting before you talk to Dutch. He will tell you about the next task-to deal with the remaining men hidden in one of the cars, presumably the one that has a connection. You need to punch bullet holes in the car and injure people inside. It turns out that the action does not have any effect, so instead go to the dynamite to lift it, and then to the wall of the car to install it. Light it, then step back to avoid being hit by the blast wave.

The car will explode, forcing people to run outside. Go into it and search it. Hints will appear on the screen when the item is available for you to take.

At the back of the train on the right is a Cabinet with a stuffed animal on the top shelf. Open it, then open the lock to find the bonds. Make sure that you have thoroughly searched both sides of the table to get more money. Don't get too close to the exit, otherwise people may push you out of the car.

With trophies in hand, return to the gang to complete the mission. But that's not all – make people return to the blown-up car. Then run back to the locomotive to the North to start the train and send them on their way. You can search the bodies when you go there if you didn't do it right away

Gold medal Checkpoints:
  • To Save lenny.
  • To Kill all the guards for 1 minute 30 seconds.
  • Avoid taking damage – use items as cover, Crouch, and play defense.
  • Make 10 accurate shots to the head.
  • Try not to use funds to restore health.
Starting the train marks the end of the mission and launches a video of your gang moving to the next camp.

Eastern border

The Eastern border mission completes the first Chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2. At the beginning, the hero finds himself in a van – his gang is moving East to the new horseshoe Overlook camp. The idyll will be broken by a wheel that has fallen off. Help others repair the van – replace the wheel when they support it.

Broken wagon
After the wheel is repaired, several native Americans (called Indians in the game) will appear on a nearby cliff. They do not interfere, but create a unique entourage of the American West. Return to the cart and continue along the road. The group, including Charles, will talk about the sad fate of native Americans in the hands of the regular army.

In this quest, you will learn how the weather affects your health. Be sure to change into clothes that match the climate, so as not to lose health too quickly. You will also learn about herbs that help restore strength. Eventually, you will see Javier. Slow down so Javier can jump on your van. This is part of the requirements for getting a gold medal.

Soon after you pick up Javier, you will reach your new camp. When you get there, a short video clip will start. Dutch will tell everyone to lie about where they came from. The lie will be that they were "fired" because of the closure of the factory in the North. That's all – there are no fights, no goals and victims. The first Chapter is over.

Checkpoint for getting a gold medal:
  • Slow down so Javier can climb into the van.Without this, the mission will have to start over;
  • The Mission must be completed in 6 minutes.
Go to Chapter 2 of the RDR 2 game and find out about the camp improvements and new actions that you can now perform. The new Chapter prepares a meeting with new heroes and interesting missions.
