The Computer version of RDR 2 is famous for its unstable frame purity, even on devices that fully fit the recommended system requirements. As they said in Nvidia, even the best RTX 2080Ti will not pull into the game on the biggest requirements. If Red Dead Redemption 2 freezes, you should not try to set the maximum requirements in the settings, gradually try different conditions, so watch for changes in the frame rate.
If you are sure that your computer will pull the set settings, then also try to set the window mode without a border or switch the API in the chart.
About the fact that the picture hangs in RDR 2, the user Micro advised to do the following:
- Go to the Launcher settings and click on the game.
- Next, enter "-USEALLAVAILABLECORES-high"in the launch line without quotes.
- In Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings in the settings file.xml find the string "asyncComputeEnabled value= "false" / "and change "false" to "true".
Also, if RDR 2 freezes and crashes, try deleting the Google Chrome browser.
