Despite the large number of advantages of this game, the endings of Red Dead Redemption 2 are not particularly diverse. And in many tasks, the choice of a certain decision is left to the player, and this greatly affects the development of further events, but in places it is limited.
RDR 2 endings are similar to each other, there are only two endings to choose from - good and bad. The final outcome is that the main character will die, but the difference is how it happens. Either a peaceful death, or death in a shootout.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, the final endings depend on which path Arthur decided to choose. If you want to end the game in a certain way, then the last decision will still be yours. The Dutch gang will reach its final in the sixth Chapter, and this will determine the ending. Arthur will have to make a choice-either you save John, or go get money.
As you have already understood, if you chase money, it will not lead to anything good. Whatever you choose, you will still have to engage in a shootout with Micah, but if you decide to save John, then before that you will still have to fight with the Pinkertons. In different cases, the endings of RDR 2 will end so that Dutch will appear on the battlefield, thus it will mean that Arthur will lose. If the choice fell to save John, then his friends will just leave him to die, in another scenario, they will kill him.
